for eleven apartments. We re-planned
the whole development and achieved
planning for fifteen! The site was
tendered on a JCT 98 Design &
Build contract with Henry W Pollard
& Sons Ltd. This development
set a new benchmark for prices in
Westonsuper- Mare, achieving over
£300 per sq ft.

People do like to live beside the seaside and when the views are this stunning, it makes our job so much easier.
In turn, Weston Super Mare was enjoying a mini renaissance so the location of this scheme was also the right thing at the right time. To top it off, we had funky private vegetable gardens to the rear – coined at the time as ‘Views and Veg’. This may just have been the edge that helped us achieve record yields at the time, £300 per sq ft. Great living and great returns – and we celebrated with an ice cream on the pier!! |
